Free at last from orienations and agendas

Finally done with all the orienations and agendas. I am free!! That is until Monday :/ That's okay. I've realized that Italy was the break that I needed. College this past semester has been super stressfull and I've had a lot of anxiety. This is JUST what I needed to get away and just have an adventure. I felt like I continued at TCU I would go through a huge anxiety attack.

Today Sam and I had meatballs and spaghetti in a little Caffeteria across from the Duomo, then bought Gelato after. Had orientation today, a little nervous but mainly excited to start school on Monday! Also went to the grocery store for the first time today, bought kalamata olives, fresh mozarella (which comes in a bag full of water to preserve the cheese), cut meats (salami and bruschetta) for sandwiches, and some freshfruits to start off with. Oh and of course a bottle of wine to start us off with (which was only like 3 euros!). We ended up carrying all these groceries for about 30 minutes across Florence to our apartment. I am SO going to get stronger here. Alright my goal is not to write as much as yesterday, because only my mom and Amy will read it all anyways haha. Love Y'all, Ciao!

  4. I am so glad to be able to keep up with your adventures. I have added your blog to my favorites and will be checking it daily. We need pics of the apartment, the grocery store, the restaurants and all of the wonderful architecture. I'm getting a history lesson just reading your blog.
