Getting settled in.

Today was the first day of classes at Lorenzo de' Medici. I only had one. It counts for one of my upper level art history classes. It's called Palaces of Florence. We study the architecture and history of all the important palaces. I was just going through some of my readings in the book. Why should I be reading about the Piazza della Signoria in my apartment when I can go read about it and drink a capacino in it?? This is history reading at it's finest! I will be sitting in the very place my reading is about, a place where battles over class and taxes took place. I think I will have lots of fun learning :)

I plan to explore Florence this weekend with my lens. Very tired, hope to update with more detail later.
